 RTD Experiences

 Description of RTD activities
Investigation of:
- the effect of short-term and long-term exposure to moderate heat (35±1°) on the carbohydrate-metabolizing enzymes and substrates, hormone concentration, endocrine glands, hormone treatment in fed and fasted (4 days) conditions;
- the effect of streptozotocin-induced diabetes in heat-acclimated rats and nicotinamide treatment;
- the effect of plant extracts treatment in diabetic rats;
- enzymatic and lipid state in diabetes in function of heat acclimation;
- determination of some heavy metals in tissues;
