 Description of RTD activities
She has long experience in scientific research and application of methods for determination of trace pollutants, particularly mercury, arsenic and other heavy metals in various environmental samples by AAS and other analytical techniques.
She has been the group leader in some national and regional environmental monitoring projects. Has leaded the analytical department of Tirana Geochemical and Geophysical Survey Centre for 12 years (1981-1992). She has experience in scientific research and application of methods for determination of rare earth and some radioactive elements (chemical analysis of U and Th) in various environmental samples. She has been involved and supervised the laboratory of Tirana Geochemical and Geophysical Survey Center in the analysis of the samples used in Methalogenic Map of Albania (scale 1:200 000) (1987 - 1991). She has very rich publishing record (3 textbooks, 4 monographs and 48 research papers) and actively participated in international scientific conferences (42). She has supervised 2 Dr Thesis, 3 Ms thesis and 16 diploma (environmental monitory, food quality and safety, analysis of pharmaceotical products).
