 Description of RTD activities
MISANU has a number of experts doing high quality research in several areas of mathematics, including:
• Cryptology,
• Digitization of scientific and cultural heritage,
• Graph theory,
• Logic in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence,
• Optimization,
which are the foundations in a number of subfields of ICT. Realizing that what is missing is a concerted effort at developing the applications of the numerous theoretical results published in leading international journals, we decided to mobilize the existing experts and new young researchers in order to devote more effort to research which is directly relevant for ICT, including very practical applications which would be usable to address different social, economic and industrial challenges.
