Description of RTD activities Research and development of printed integrated antenna structures of various purposes from 16GHz to 75GHz. Research and development of microwave filters in freuqency bands from 16GHz to 40GHz. Research and development of direct QPSK and QAM modulators and frequency converters at millimeter band up to 50GHz.
Experiences in international Programmes 1. Research of novel printed antenna structures at frequency bands from 2.5GHz to 75GHz in period from 1996 to 2001 with associates of SONY’s R&D laboratories in Germany.
2. Research of diode limiters at X band for limit powers over 4.5kW performed with:Prof. Petrie Meyer Postgraduate Coordinator Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering University of Stellenbosch Private Bag X1, Matieland, 7602, South Africa Phone: +27-21-8084322 Fax:+27-21-8084981 email: pmeyer@sun.ac.za
3. Research of waveguide filters and diplexer filters at bands from 10 to 40GHz since 2002 until to-day with:Prof. Petrie Meyer, Postgraduate Coordinator Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering University of Stellenbosch Private Bag X1, Matieland, 7602, South Africa Phone: +27-21-8084322 Fax:+27-21-8084981 email: pmeyer@sun.ac.za and Prof. Djuradj Budimir Department of Electronic Systems, University of Westminster, London, email: budimid@westminster.ac.ukNegotiating with Prof. Ke Wu, Poly-Grames Research Center, Departement de Genie Electrique, Ecole Polytechnique, Montreal, Qc., Canada is in progress concerning joint research in the field of direct modulators for higher level QAM modulations.
