Main activities of the Ministry of Science and Technology are administrative and other expert tasks related to: science-research activities; strategy of demography development of the Republic and measures of the population policy; strategy of the technological development of the Republic; incentive to fundamental development applied researches; development of national investment technologies, skilled personnel in science-research operations; innovations, development and improvement of technology; informing on issues of economics and technology development; cede and acquiring of material rights and technologies in production; planning, preparation of programs and agreements on science-technical cooperation in accordance with the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, inspection supervision in these fields, provision of information via media and other types of informing on its work and perform other tasks in accordance with the Law and other regulations of the Republic of Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina
