 Description of RTD activities
M. Stojcev current research interest concern research and implementation aspects of wireless computer networks, sensor networks, embedded systems, remote sensing, hardware/software co-design, theoretical and practical aspects of parallel and distributed systems, and reconfigurable computing.

 Experiences in international Programmes
He was a leader researcher at 8 national projects and main coordinator at one international project.For his previous work, in the area of design and realization of embedded computer systems, M. Stojčev has received several national recognitions and awards, including: Annual award of Federal Economic Council in 1980, for Contribution to realization of information systems for big sport competitions; Annual prizes of City Niš in 1981 and 1985, for Development and Realization of microcomputers systems applied in industry, and Data Acquisition Systems for operation in hazardous areas; and annual prize of Radio Television Belgrade, in 1983, for Realization of Character generator for displaying alphanumeric and graphical symbols. In addition, for two times, he has received ETAN award for best work in the field of electronics in 1980 and 1985, respectively. As a member of research and development teams from Ei Irin Nish and faculty of Electronic Engineering Nish, M. Stojčev take part in realization of numerous systems and products that covers Information systems, Real time data acquisition systems, ASIC design, Fluid flow metters, and others.
